The model is not the safety layer
I built the layer between the model and the motor on the same $200 arm, and ran one task twice — layer off, then layer on. Every check that fires is a row in a hash-chained log, and the log records what the layer got wrong too.

I published what one robot task would be judged on before the robot moved, and published the result by the date. The thing that passed had no camera and had learned nothing — and that is the finding, not the footnote.

The robot ate the roadmap — the experiment now leads the homepage — so the grader stopped getting fed. The chain itself was never touched: this note lives in page copy, outside the hash chain, and the ledger below still verifies.
Read the freeze honestly: the priorities I set, I hit — the score collapsed because coverage did. I stopped reporting to the grader and built instead. What got built is dated on the homepage: ARM-ANI, a 50-episode dataset, a fine-tuned VLA, a first result.
